Hiking in the Zillertal Alps
There is no better way to experience nature than on foot. On walks through the idyllic valleys or up to the high alpine Zittauer Hut (2,329 m) you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, bringing body, mind and soul back to their natural balance. The fresh and invigorating mountain air stimulates the immune system and all that movement significantly boosts the metabolism, Those looking for an extra thrill should take their swimming gear and jump into the crystal clear mountain lake!

We offer guided walks 5 x per week:
  • 2 x weekly, we invite you to join us on an easy family hike.
  • 3 x weekly, you are welcome to take part in our guided walks for adults - (extensive Nordic walking tours, wellness walks with yoga and Qi Gong exercises, mountain hikes at moderate altitudes).

Walking with children
Are your children not keen on walking? Turn your walking route into an adventure trail and allow your children to discover nature! Here a few helpful tips on how to accomplish this:
  • Plan your trips so they can be spontaneously shortened or changed.
  • Before you set out on long hikes, test the stamina and pace of your children on short walks.
  • Don't set your heights too high or try to achieve a specific goal at all costs.
  • Little things along the edge of the trail are probably more interesting to children than the mountain panorama.
  • Allow your children to discover, collect and observe things on their own.
  • Make sure you take enough breaks and that you have sufficient food and drink with you.
  • Children usually find it great fun to carry their own, lightweight, backpack.

The right gear:
  • Sturdy hiking boots with a good tread
  • Robust, functional clothing that can also get dirty
  • Don't forget to take some spare clothes

And the best thing is: it's all inclusive!!
  • 5 x per week guided hiking tours
  • free bus transport for the guided walks
  • snack
  • free hire of rucksacks and Nordic walking poles
  • free umbrella hire
  • hike/tour instructions
  • organisation of overnight stays in mountain huts
  • drying room for shoes and clothing
